Pecan Pralines
| 1-1/2 cups sugar |
2 cup pecan pieces |
| 3/4 cup brown sugar |
pinch salt |
| 1/2 stick butter |
1 tsp vanilla |
| 1/2 cup evaporated milk |

Combine sugars, salt and milk in a saucepan and
cook on medium heat stirring constantly until soft ball stage (test in cold
water; mixture should be soft and hold together). Remove from heat and
add pecans, vanilla and butter. Stir well. Dish out by spoonful on
wax paper. |
